Images, drawings and data for exemplar projects in British architecture

Submit a project to the AJ Buildings Library

All architecture practices are encouraged to submit to their projects to be included in the AJ Buildings Library.

The AJ Buildings Library contains the most important and influential projects completed in the UK or by British architects over the last 100 years. We believe that any firm that has created high quality work worthy of inclusion should have a good representation of their built work in the database.

As well as providing a resource for use by hundreds of architects the database will showcase firms’ work to clients and developers, and to other firms looking for collaborators.

The criteria for inclusion in the database are very similar to building studies in the AJ magazine: high quality buildings completed in the UK or buildings overseas completed by UK-based architects. For each project we require photographs, drawings and full data.

To submit a projects contact Tom Ravenscroft or complete the ‘Project Submission’ form and drop this onto our ftp.

If you would like to discuss a project submission, please email the AJ Buildings Library Editor or call 020 7728 4644.

Frequently asked questions about submitting projects

“It’s the kind of thing that might get used five or six times a day. We regularly send people to the RIBA library to get information on old projects — ease of access would have real value.”
